About the Tharawat Space
Who is behind the Tharawat Space?
The Tharawat Space is an initiative by the Tharawat Family Business Forum and its media partner Tharawat Magazine.
It is a non-profit effort to bring suistainability, innovation and growth to the family business community in the MENA.
Co-Working
I am not a member of a family business. Can I still come and work?
The Tharawat Space is specifically for the family business community. However, as we want to encourage the exchange between family businesses and entrepreneurs, we offer a certain amount of Tharawat Space Passes to entrepreneurs. If you are an entrepreneur and interested in a co-working place, apply here and become a ‘Visiting Entrepreneur’!
We also recommand all non-family startups, to look at all the great co-working spaces you can go to in Dubai, such as:
– Impact Hub Dubai
– Astrolabs
– the bureau dubai and The Co-Working Cafe
– The cribb
– InFive and The Assembly
– Make Business Hub
Can I hold my business meeting at the Space?

I am a family business member or entrepreneur from outside the MENA, can I apply for a Tharawat Space Pass?
Yes you can! If you are based in or often travel to Dubai you are more than welcome to get a Tharawat Space Pass and joint the community. See our Pass options!
Can I hold my business meeting at the Tharawat Space?
Yes, if you have a Tharawat Space Pass or are a Member of the Tharawat Family Business Forum, we welcome reasonable use of the Space for business meetings. Please note that your business partners cannot work from the Space after your meeting ends.
Why is there no 1 day Tharawat Space Pass?
At this point in time we cannot offer 1 day passes due to the face that every application for a Tharawat Space Pass has to be approved first, which can take up to two hours.

Can I join the events even if I am not part of a family business?
Yes, several of our events will be open to the public and can be attended by anyone interested.
Are all events paid?
The attendance fees vary depending on the activities offered and some events will be for free.
Do I have to register for events?
Most events will require registration, unless otherwise indicated.

Can I book the Tharawat Space for an event related to the topic of family business?
Events around the family business topic can only be held at the Tharawat Space if it is in collaboration with its founder the Tharawat Family Business Forum.
