Continuum Family Business Visit – The Netherlands 2017

An exceptional journey: Over the course of a 4 day trip family businesses from the MENA, Africa, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas visited the Netherlands to discover Dutch Family Businesses, Entrepreneurs and Technology in key cities to explore business opportunities, discover new technologies, and exchange thoughts.

The Continuum experience was designed for family enterprises and offices that were looking to:

  • Explore Europe’s biggest HIGH TECH INCUBATOR with over 200 innovative start ups
  • Learn how the largest PORT in Europe is transforming to face the economy of the future
  • Join the creators of cutting edge new products at one of the largest MAKER SPACES in the country
  • Visit and connect with a NETWORK of Dutch family businesses and entrepreneurs and explore business opportunities
  • Reflect on the TRANSFORMATION of the economic landscape with experts and academics in various leading institutions

The Continuum Participants were welcomed during each visit by members of the owning families and had the opportunity to meet entrepreneurs and experts in innovation and technology. During a half day Conference the participants and hosts got together to share their experiences and to discuss the economy of the future.

The Program of Continuum 2017 was created in consultation with the Dutch Consulate (UAE), FBNed, the Dutch Family Business Association, and Rotterdam Partners, and in collaboration the Windesheim Centre for Family Business (Netherlands), as well as Hizkia van Kralingen (Cultural Partner).
