What will Family Business look like after the Pandemic

As the world is coming to terms with the impact of the public health crisis that is Covid19, we are also starting to grasp the impact of the pandemic on the global economy.
A global recession is set to hit our region hard and potentially stifle the growth of family firms across industries. And yet it is family firms that are the best equipped to remain resilient and future-oriented in these times.
However, for young family business leaders this means that they may have to face years of challenging market conditions paired with the reality of technological disruption.
During this session we will debate what the future holds for family firms, how the “new normal” impacts our business models and what leadership looks like in this 21st-century context.

  • Yanish Ismael, CEO, SMTP Group, Madagascar
