Intergenerational Entrepreneurship in Algeria: NCA-Rouiba

The Family Business Histories project is delighted to present to you the third case study conducted with NCA-Rouiba (1966 – 2019). The company was founded by Salah Othmani and his father, Mohamed Saïd, in 1966 as Nouvelle Conserverie Algérienne (NCA), four years after the country gained independence. Surviving years of economic and political instability, NCA-Rouiba has become the leading food processing company in the region, and the Rouiba brand of canned fruit juice is widely known in Algeria and neighbouring countries.

We are glad to welcome Mr. Slim Othmani, Former Chairman at NCA-Rouiba as keynote-speaker and to hear his insights about the successes and challenges of the founding years of the enterprise.

Participation upon invitation only.
