Family Businesses Responding to Crisis
A Historical Perspective

The Family Business Histories project is delighted to welcome Dr. Andrea Schneider-Braunberger for our upcoming webinar. Andrea is CEO of the Gesellschaft für Unternehmensgeschichte (GUG) (Business History Society), established in 1976 and based in Frankfurt-am-Main in Germany.

Dr. Schneider-Braunberger has written extensively about the history of German family businesses and her team has supported many family firms in documenting their history. Her career has contributed to building bridges between the academic world, business, and government and has helped to deepen the appreciation of how insight can be generated from hindsight.

Andrea will share her research on German family firms responding to crisis and what today’s leaders can learn from yesterday’s entrepreneurs.

Participation upon invitation only.
